Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a covered double arcade between Piazza della Scala and Piazza del Duomo. It was realized at the end of the nineteenth century by architect Giuseppe Mengoni. In 1865 the construction started as king Vittorio Emanuele II of Savoy laid the first stone. The arcade is full of shops of famous Italian and international brands.
